What time is Check-In / Check-Out?

Check-In:

4:00 PM

*If a room becomes available before this time, we are happy to check guests in on a first-come first-served basis. If we do not have a room available upon arrival we will pre-register the guest and store all luggage until a room becomes available.

Check-Out:

11:00 AM

*Late check outs are limited but can be requested based on availability for an additional fee.  Late check out availability cannot be guaranteed.

Is there parking available at the hotel?

We offer valet parking at the rate of $38.00 a night plus tax. This does include unlimited in and out access.  For guests wishing to self-park, there are a very limited number of open-air lots and garages in the area, however these are not affiliated with the hotel. These off-site garages will charge per entry and exit, as well.

Do you offer breakfast?

Breakfast is available from both in room dining and our restaurant Las Ramblas.  Both feature ala carte menus, however most breakfast entrees are priced between $12.00-$16.00. 

We also have an all-day brunch in Las Ramblas every Saturday & Sunday from 6:30 AM - 2 PM

Can I have packages shipped to the hotel?

Sending and Recieving Packages

Guests are welcome to send packages to the Hotel Contessa.  We ask that all packages have the guests name on the package and have a scheduled arrival date prior to the guest’s arrival date.

What are your cancellation & credit card pre-authorization policies?

Cancellation Policy

  • Reservations made directly through the hotel have a 48-hour cancelation window. Guests can call to modify or cancel their reservation without penalty up to 48 hours before their arrival.  If a guest cancels outside of this window or does not come in for their reservation they will be charged for the entirety of the reservation.
  • There are some reservations that are non-cancelable and non-refundable which are typically pre-paid promotional rate reservations.  Reservations booked through third party vendors may only be cancelled or modified through the third party and are subject to the cancellation policy of that party. The hotel may not modify or cancel any reservations made through a third party.

Credit Card Pre-Authorizations at Check-In

  • We pre-authorize $75 per night for incidentals. The authorizations are not charges, they will show on your statement as “pending charges” and are not finalized until check out at which point all excess authorization is released.  It typically takes 3-5 business days for the authorization to fall off on the account.  We recommend credit cards over debit cards for this as when debit cards are authorized your bank will make the funds inaccessible.

How many pools do you have?

Our pool is located on the roof of the hotel.  It is outdoors, but it is climate-controlled year-round.  The pool hours are from 6am-11pm.

Can I bring my pet?

Pet Policy

The Hotel Contessa is a dog friendly property.  We only accept dogs 40lbs or under (larger dogs can be approved by the general manager).  There is a non-refundable $50 a night plus tax fee for each dog.  For more detailed information on our pet policy please reach out to the front desk for more details.
